“Wherever you enter a house, stay there until you leave from there.
Whatever place does not welcome you or listen to you,
leave there and shake the dust off your feet
in testimony against them.”
So they went off and preached repentance.

No I am no disciple of Jesus but a simple catholic faith human who has a body structure of a tall giant and the voice matching to it which echoes across rooms! I am always known to be loud and opinionated and probably in Indian culture these are not traits liked in women!

Often my loud voice and constant curiosity has led people to believe I am being extremely nosy and mean. I however do not bat an eyelid when I have a doubt to clarify! I was raised to ask questions and have opinions and laugh loud and hearty!

But suddenly when I switch cultures and no one is used to being asked questions and interrupted or evaluated for the work they do by a woman, i have landed in hot water — while Indians per se from the southern part ( where I reside ) are non confrontational and instead will discuss the matter with everyone under the sun but address the elephant in the room or talk to them especially when its a woman.

Jesus expects the disciples to get their mission right and ensure they adjust with all crowds. Preaching repentance and being with people who accept us as we are! This is a major as everyone wants a change but the work for it is tedious!

Today we move places in search of jobs and work and have an opportunity to present our faith, yes I seem to not be the best person to talk about it as I have rubbed off a few people the wrong way cause of my attitude. But I also ensure I do work hard for the benefit of spreading the word and being an upright citizen and doctor with zero compromise on my ethics.

Let us leave a little example of ourselves as christian and I personally love to see the rosary wrapped around all my catholic patients necks with unwavering faith through their journey with cancer!

Keep all the cancer patients and survivors or fighters in your prayers on World cancer day on 4th February..

AMEN.
