it will be more tolerable for Sodom on that day than for that town.”

It is a warning!

Often as Indians, who have an inherent distaste to rules especially at traffic, I notice people breaking rules. I myself I have done it and gotten away! We see signs, read the rule books but never implement any of it!

The reason ?

There is no strict punishment implemented ever! The law makers them selves cut lines, dont use seat belts or helmets and even drive above speed limit!

But once we see someone crash in an accident or we get fined a huge sum of money we learn or maybe we dont !

Today Jesus warns his disciples about the people not following the rules and regulations, doing things their way and he ensures he informs about punishment also.

it is indeed upto us , whether we pay heed to the advice or not.. we better do!

AMEN

  1. Thank you for reminding us that there are consequences to our behavior, even in this life. May we look to God for guidance as we make choices, both big and small.

  2. I’ve often wondered how people decide which rules to obey and which to disobey. I was told it’s based on whether it’s convenient or not. I think that’s true whether it’s civil or religious law.
