For there is nothing hidden except to be made visible;
nothing is secret except to come to light.
Anyone who has ears to hear ought to hear.”

As an Indian, this date signifies the national republic day and a bank holiday! While the national capital has a parade of all the armed forces and states have floats dances , I watched it every year on TV as I grew up, swelling with pride when my state would be shown on screen and I could spot the artists and the music! My state is the tiniest in my country, often mistaken for just a coastal tourist spot. So visualizing it on a national scale always made me immensely proud!

As the reading says, we are made to keep visible our faith and listen to it, I am the visible Goan at my work place. Everyone visited it has fond memories of the place or people! So every time I introduce myself, I have to listen to the stories they have or yearnings to visit the place!

While I did attend the sunday mass, the homily was in the native tongue and it gave me time to reflect on my prayer conversation with Jesus. While being thankful and greatful for im at the spot of my dream, I am realising how visbile I am making my faith, when I chose to attend mass and then come for rounds at the hospital!!

Often we do not realise how we represent ourselves, but in a world where my name and faith are first detected with my introduction, I am keen to be a beacon of it through my work and actions! Let us all try to be the light illuminating the road to faith and listen to the word of God! It is tough at many times and we can be at cross roads questioning ourselves regarding it. Let us turn to Jesus for guidance and focus on being better humans everyday!

PRAYER:

Unto you oh Lord, I put my faith and stressors, help me be a better person and work to spread your light, guide me! Thank you lord! Praise you Lord

Amen
