Thursday, 15th July 2021 – JESUS TOOK MY BURDEN……

The gospel today is a favourite passage of mine. Something I go to reflect and pause and meditate on when I feel stressed or unsure.

Jesus said:
“Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened,
and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me,
for I am meek and humble of heart;
and you will find rest for yourselves.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.”

Sit where you are, close your eyes and feel the voice of the Lord saying this, watch Him take your stressors away one by one and hold your hand and take you ahead towads a light. …. when you open your eyes , we will feel lighter or less stressed!!!

PRAYER:

Thank your Lord for offering to take my burdens, help me find you in my daily chaotic life and focus on you in prayer and deed. Forgive me Lord for being unable to trust you completely and bless me Lord with more faith in your supreme power in my Life!!!

AMEN
