If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love,
just as I have kept my Father’s commandments
and remain in his love.

It sounds so simple, follow the rules and remain in His love. I am still wondering have I ever kept the commandments?! I dont think so. I constantly feel overburdened and am exhausted most of the time to think through some of my responses and behaviour. So there are numerous breaking of the rules! All the time!

I notice I am more aware during Lent and Advent but on a regular day I really am least concerned about it – which is sad as I should be concerned and make my life focusing being a better person in accordance to the commandments and adhere to His words.

Easier said than done!

It is very similar to me planning to start a daily routine of prayer or exercise. I just never get the time or I am always distracted. Life is like that , while we are full of distractions, there is always someone there to deviate us from the simple rules.

Let us keep tabs as we reflect on our day and surrender it to God!

PRAYER

Guide me with your commandments to be a better faithful.

AMEN
