Friday, February 7th in Ordinary Time

Marriage is to be honoured by all, and marriages are to be kept undefiled, because fornicators and adulterers will come under God’s judgement. Put greed out of your lives and be content with whatever you have; God himself has said: I will not fail you or desert you

The good Lord knows that I am not the perfect husband, servant or human being. Yes, I worry.

It’s going to be okay!

Psalm 27:13-14 I believe I shall see the LORD’s goodness in the land of life. Wait for the LORD, take courage; be stouthearted, wait for the LORD!

Again God says its going to be okay.

God knows we can’t do anything alone and on our own. This is why He walks with us. Just like He did with Adam in the Garden of Eden, God’s will come to us. Yes, we don’t have perfect relatives, and we are not perfect but never give up on God because He has not given up on us. God himself has said: I will not fail you or desert you.

It’s going to be okay!

With the Lord to help me, I fear nothing: what can man do to me? Still, we are imperfect, and we worry about things in life. We all work at our vocations in life, and we make mistakes, but God can take those mistakes and turn them around until the solution is God’s solution, God is in charge, and we are not.

Wow!

Think about how awesome that statement is. We can walk away from God, but He is still there if we turn to Him. God only wants us to follow the rules (commandments). This is easier said than done and would be impossible without His help. He tells us not to worry. He gives us the Sacraments. His grace overflows in us. We just have to accept it.

It’s going to be okay!

God Love You Always
