“Today this Scripture passage is fulfilled in your hearing.”
I am listening to all the talks on youtube from SEEK 2025 , a catholic convention held annually at USA where speakers like Fr Mike Schmitz, Jason Evert, Sister Miriam ….. speak about the Lord and their vocation to young adults but I still listen despite being middle aged.
Something about listening to an invigorating session makes me feel very hopeful and optimistic just like todays gospel where in the Lord Himself read the scriptures for you!!!
As the Christs voice is also heard across the hall and he reads the promises made by His father, I feel so sad that I missed my opportunity of living when Jesus walked on earth – but I am overjoyed that I live a daily life of knowing His word and having it at my fingertips and need just to make it a priority to focus on Him in my daily life!
Everyday I wake up knowing I m blessed to be a child of God and spread his love to all my patients with cancer! I am here on a weekly basis despite being sleep deprived due to my classes and surgery schedules but I am never going to miss a chance to relive that eternal life through reflecting on scripture and praying.
